Mark your calendars for Jan. 28, 2017. Bloggers will gather in Austin to learn from one another and hear from speakers about how to do it better. At the event, BlogathonATX, I’ll be having a conversation with Art Markman of KUT’s Two Guys on Your Head fame. Markman’s radio show and blog are entertaining and thought-provoking.
At our roundtable session, Markman and I will talk discuss how bloggers (and others) can make their writing more compelling to a general audience, especially when the subject matter is complicated. We’ll provide tips and ideas for engaging all kinds of readers, such as finding the right story to illustrate an idea and using analogies to explain complex concepts.
